Nestled in the woods of Yellow Wood State Forest in Brown County Indiana is a property known as Moondance. If you watch the moon through the trees it seems to dance between the branches. It was watching this “dance” that first lured us to this property. We wanted to share this experience with guests so we added The Guest House onto our private residence to provide a place to relax, enjoy and watch the moon. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath home has a full kitchen, living and dining areas, a hot tub on the private deck and a fireplace. Each bedroom has satellite TV and there is a DVD/VCR player in the living room. We provide all bed linens, towels, cooking utensils and appliances. This is a very private location yet conveniently less than 5 miles from Nashville, Brown County Indiana

The Farm

The Farm features relaxation, fishing and only 4.5 miles from Nashville.

In the late 1800’s much of Brown County had been clear cut of it’s forests as early settlers attempted to make a living at farming. One of these early groups was the Scrougham family who built the original Farm house in 1865. As farming proved to be a difficult task in our terrain much of the farming ceased by the early 1900’s and the land returned to it’s original forested condition that is enjoyed today but the Farm house remained. The family continued ownership for 5 generations, the original home was torn down and a replica built in its place in the early 1990’s. This magnificent home is located just 5 miles from Nashville IN in a very quiet area of Brown County. There is a large pond with bass topping 20 inches long, a gazebo next to the pond ready for your picnic, a large hot tub, 3 fireplaces, 6 bedrooms, 6 baths, full kitchen, 2 large porches plus a large deck, pool table, electronic darts, satellite TV and much, much more. This house will take you back in time and settle those jangily nerves
